Snow Joke

Snow has arrived here at Campbell Cottage… in serious quantities! Thankfully we have both been able to work from home this week as the roads are treacherous – our neighbours Clive & Sally were caught on Monday and had to stay with friends. Sally also had to spend one night at work – slept on a hospital trolley apparently!!

Christmas chez Patrick

On Saturday evening we joined Patrick, Ruth and the kids for a Christmas Party at their fabulous house in Sutton Courtenay, near Abingdon. There was plenty of lovely food and wine and it was great to see Olivia looking so grown up and confidently distributing plate after plate of canapes. I had made her a present of some card-mounted dive pictures from our trip to Hawaii, which she seemed pleased with. Also present was Charlotte and her husband Julian – great to catch up with them, and we agreed to try and meet up in Bath in the spring. Also gave Charlotte Lucy’s number so they could get in touch.
