Erik’s Leaving Do

This week Erik and Adrianna will head back to Slovakia to settle down and bring up little Dominik in more familiar surroundings.

I’ll miss the Bezak around the office, not to mention playing him at Badminton and ping-pong but he’ll still be part of the team and will be over to visit in June hopefully.

On Tuesday we went out for a few beers, starting at the Beehive and then moving to the White Hart once the Chelsea fans had gathered to watch their epic victory over Barcelona. I stayed over at Paulo’s flat in the Maltings and got to work 8:30 the next day feeling slightly the worse for wear…!

Twenty-20 kick-off

A big summer of Cricket awaits with the T20 World Cup followed by the 2009 Ashes (C’mon England!!). The domestic T20 has also just kicked off and I went to Lords with Al and Brendan on Monday to watch Middlesex play Surrey. Middlesex old-boy Mark Ramprakash hit a classy 61 and Usman Afzaal a bludgeoning 98 not out to post a big total in bright sunshine. Middlesex lost early wickets and were never in the running sadly. So we went for a couple of beers and a steak in Marylebone 🙂

Guinness Night

Fredrik and Mikael are over from Sweden for the week so on Thursday we made the usual pilgrimage to The Toucan in Soho for London’s finest pint of Guinness. Then round to Pizza Express on the corner of Dean Street…

With Fredrik being over from Sweden for the week, and four new additions to the Development Team, we headed in to Soho for some of London’s finest Guinness 🙂

Alea Curry Night

Caught up with Chan, Sarah, Dan Haley, Tony Read and co for a curry. Usual place – beer at The Walrus then round to the Raj.
